Will my document be saved or shared?

What should I do if my original work is flagged?
If your completely original work receives a high AI-likely score, don't panic. This can happen if your writing is highly structured, uses repetitive sentence lengths, or lacks personal voice. To reduce false positives, try varying your sentence lengths, incorporating personal anecdotes or specific contextual examples, and using a more active, dynamic voice. Always keep your draft history (version history in Word or Google Docs) as proof of your original writing process.
Can it detect paraphrased AI content?
Lightly paraphrased AI content (where a few words are swapped out using a thesaurus) will often still trigger high AI probability scores because the underlying sentence structure and vocabulary predictability remain largely unchanged. However, heavily rewritten text that incorporates a human writer's distinct voice, varied structure, and original thought is much more likely to be classified accurately as human-written.
